How we work

Human Development Center

At the Human Development Center, we believe healing is an inside job. As biodynamic craniosacral therapists, we offer gentle touch, deep presence, and relational attunement to support the nervous system in settling and the body in accessing its innate healing wisdom. Our work is rooted in the understanding that healing unfolds through safety, connection, and respectful listening to the body’s natural rhythms.

We specialize in supporting newborns and families through the impacts of birth trauma, feeding challenges, bonding and attachment difficulties, and early developmental stress. Our approach is especially attuned to the earliest layers of experience, honoring the profound intelligence present in infants, parents, and family systems during times of transition and vulnerability.

We also work with children and adults navigating concussions, chronic pain, autism, developmental differences, trauma histories, and nervous system dysregulation. Drawing from Craniosacral Therapy, Pre- and Perinatal Somatic Psychology, birth and somatic process work, systemic and family constellations, and interpersonal neurobiology, our sessions are body-centered, trauma-informed, and compassionately paced.

Our practice honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, spirit, and relational field. We work from principles of truth, simplicity, love, and service to all life, supporting not only individual healing but the well-being of families, communities, and the larger human field.

In addition to in-person sessions, we offer online consultations, parent support, and educational experiences, including classes, trainings, and guided processes. Whether working hands-on or at a distance, our intention remains the same: to create a resourced, respectful space where healing can emerge organically and where each person is met with dignity, care, and deep listening.

Our Client Review

  • "I arrived at Clara's door in a state of deep confusion about how to heal chronic pain and shift some developmental patterns in my life. In a truly somatic fashion, Clara supported me in allowing my body to begin to unwind. It suddenly became much clearer where I was getting "stuck" both in my body and in my life. The power of being held in such loving presence and guided skillfully through the stuck places was life-changing for me. Arguably, it was life-saving at that time. Clara is truly wise, humble, highly skilled and very experienced. I will be forever grateful for the ripple of healing that came from my time with Clara."

  • "Clara is one of my most impactful mentors and guides in the field of perinatal somatics. She is a true gem; a one of a kind. When she mentors me, I find myself reconnecting with my own true nature and wisdom while learning fascinating information on how we form our body, mind and soul. Even though I had my own knowledge and experience of pre and perinatal psychology, attachment, and nervous system regulation, Clara opened a new perspective for me with a more nuanced, interconnected, and embodied understanding. I hear her voice in my heart and mind when I am in the support role with my people and it makes me feel more connected, present, and confident in my own practice.."

    Livia Ondi, LMFT

  • "The process work with Clara and Hiraman revealed to me knowledge that I was totally unaware of on conscious level. The depth of the anchor they held with their intention and reflection was indicative of the amount that could be revealed and transmitted to me within the field. I was working on a family pattern that had been driving the lineage for multiple decades. With this work, I understood the pattern, how it kept us alive and what needed to be witnessed in the moment to ensure a path of healing for all of us. I am so grateful for the insight gained from this session, and for the skill that Clara and Hiraman harness with the work. I will look at my family through different eyes from now forward."
